The Bracket Tourney^[2] was a user tournament co-hosted by Deadlyx39 and mrpreggers from March–May of 2015, and was the first non-multiplayer bracket-style user tournament on FFR. It used double-elimination, and matched players one-on-one against each other across all 8 divisions. It used a raw score percentage to determine the winner in each match-up.

Players were initially placed into one of 7 divisions based on their Skill Rating. But because the skill gaps in D2 and D5 were too large, they were split into half-divisions, including D2.5 and D5.5. Also, D1 was empty because no D1 players signed up.

A total pot of 1,000,000 credits was accumulated^[1]. Donations were:

Bracket[]

A bracket was used to determine the players' advancement and elimination throughout the tournament. It was initially determined by players' performance in the Qualifying Round. Since the format was double-elimination, a player started in a "winner's bracket" and was moved into the "loser's bracket" after losing one match. The matches were one-on-one with any other player in the tournament. Scores were determined by the raw score percentage of the total possible raw score achievable for the song that round.^[1]

The players who did not win a bye in the Qualifying Round played in Round 1, and all participants played in Round 2. Each player competed at most one time each round. The number of players remaining from one round to the next became fewer as the tournament progressed and people were eliminated.
